What Can I Sell?
AuctionCare will not accept any item that we would estimate to
sell on eBaySM at less than $20. If you're unsure about
the estimated value of your item, please contact
us by email and
we'll be happy to help determine the item's possible value on eBay.
In addition, eBaySM has its own policy that determines
the kinds of items that are allowed to be auctioned on its service.
Learn
more about eBaySM's listing policies. AuctionCare will adhere
to the policies established by eBaySM.
Finally, AuctionCare reserves the right to refuse to accept any
item presented to us for any reason.
Shipping
AuctionCare will use both UPS and USPS shipping services. Both
services have their own policy guidelines (UPS
guidelines / USPS
guidelines) about what can be shipped, and AuctionCare will
adhere to those policies. The two main points are:
- maximum of 150 pounds weight
- maximum of 108 inches length and/or girth
Damaged Items Sent to AuctionCare
AuctionCare will not be responsible for damage that occurs to items
while being shipped to us.
We prefer not to receive your auction item by mail or delivery,
but we recognize it may be the only way some customers have to use
our service. If you are shipping items for us to sell on eBaySM, the
following policies will apply:
- if you have email access, AuctionCare will send you a digital
image of the item after we receive it to confirm the item's condition
- if the item is damaged, AuctionCare will refuse to list the
item on eBaySM and you will have one of two options:
- if you have purchased shipping insurance on the item, we
will work with you to help you collect reimbursement from
the shipping agency
- if you have not purchased insurance, AuctionCare will offer
you the chance to pay for shipping to have the item returned,
and if you refuse, we will discard the item for you
Returns
AuctionCare's policy on accepting returns will vary with the item(s)
being auctioned, and will be clearly stated in the auction listing.
In general, on items we deem eligible to be returned, we will allow
a winning bidder to return the item only if s/he believes the item
does not match the description in the auction listing. AuctionCare
will tell all winning bidders that returned items must be received
by AuctionCare within 15 days of the date the auction closed.
Unsold Items
If your item doesn't sell, we will notify you by email and offer
you the option to relist the item. If it still
doesn't sell after a second listing, we
will notify you again and give you two options:
- arrange a date and time to pick up the item from AuctionCare
within ten (10) days of the end of the auction
- request
the item be returned (locally only) for a nominal delivery fee
If you don't wish to pick up or have AuctionCare return the item,
we will discard it for you.
If you've shipped the item to us from outside the Tri-Cities area,
where pick up and/or drop-off of your item is not an option, and
would like to have the item returned, we will ship the item back
to you
provided
you prepay shipping costs. |
